"Creating Our Legacy: Planned Giving." "Discover"
"Today's Gospel" also meets at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the smaller classroom in Waldron Hall, facilitated by Rachel Mason. Join us to examine the Gospel reading for today and learn how the message relates to our lives.
Children’s Chapel is in the new Godly Play classroom After weeks of hard work and preparation, Room 1 is now ready for Children’s Chapel featuring Godly Play! Immediately following the collect at the 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 am services, the crucifer will lead the children into the narthex where one of our two adults (called the “door person”) will meet the children and bring them down the stairs to Room 1. The children will come back to the sanctuary as we start to share Holy Communion, so that they can join their families and be part of our Eucharist.
For when the children are in the sanctuary, parents will find Worship Boxes just to the right of the main doors as you face the parking lot. These boxes have activities for children to engage in quietly while sitting in worship. On the shelf above the boxes you will find Children’s Bulletins with age appropriate games to engage the gospel reading of the day (ages 3-6 and ages 7-12).
For the convenience of those with toddlers and infants, we have a Nursery for children aged two and under. It is located down the stairs to the left of the main doors, then make a right and you will find it on your right near the end of the corridor. For parents who wish to keep their young ones with them, the Cry Room is in the back of sanctuary and to the right of the doors you entered the sanctuary through. The room has some toys, the audio feed from the service, and a large window to look on the worship service. Nursing mothers are welcome to use the Cry Room to feed their infants.
