Greater New Hope COGIC is a unified body of baptized believers fellowshipping together in the bonds of brotherly love. The ministry of Greater New Hope is one that flourishes daily in its walk and proclamation of faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We worship in a family oriented, God anointed atmosphere where every saint is valuable to the body of Christ because We Are Better Together.

We are a God fearing and bible believing church that takes God at his word. Our ministry focuses on teaching and proclaiming the unadulterated word of God while thoroughly following the guidance of Proverbs. 4:9 in all thy getting, get understanding. We believe in praising God with our whole heart allowing Holy Spirit to flow in liberty, and therefore are not bound by traditional programs and orders of service.

We have an excellent Sunday School Department, a powerful Bible Study, an enriching Couples Ministry, and Spirit filled Worship Services. Our Pastor, Elder John Quarles, proclaims Gods word with power and enthusiasm in a unique and gifted teaching style employing practical applications for todays trials, temptations, and concerns. His enthusiastic biblical teaching methods embodies the principles of God's word found in St. John 8:32, and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free, whereby each believer is empowered to be made free from his/her bonds and loosed from the yokes of oppression.

We are located at 3510 College Road, near the intersection of University Road, and directly behind Beaver Sports. We welcome you to stop by and worship God with us anytime you are visiting in Alaska.
