Experience the Alaska you've dreamed of:
Board your float plane at Lake Hood - the largest seaplane base in the world - near Anchorage International Airport. Fly to Mt. McKinley in Denali National Park. View the tallest mountain in North America. After lunch and fuel stop back at Lake Hood, you off to Lake Clark National Park. Stay at a new, yet comfortable lodge right on the lake. After a delicious dinner that night, an enjoyable breakfast the next morning, and a packed picnic lunch you take off for Katmai National Park where you'll be able to walk on the board walks to watch the grizzley bears fishing for salmon, fighting over a prime fishing spot, and see the cubs observing mom's fishing techniques. Return later that day to your lodge on Lake Clark for another scrumptious dinner. After the delightful breakfast the next morning you can choose to hike, fish, or relax prior to your return to Anchorage. See Rates for more choices and details.
"It was so much fun. Beautiful scenery. And no other people around."
During most of the summer we specialize in grayling (up to 22 inches), and rainbow trout (up to 24 inches). During the last half of August, we fly out for fresh silver salmon (up to 16 pounds). Though we cannot always promise fish, we will only take you to the places where our guests have been catching fish recently. We offer lure fishing equipment, along with hip boots. Ask about guided fly-in fishing.
Ever dream of flying next to glaciers, over ice fields, or deep fjords? Or fly with a pilot who flies top professional photographers?
