Ebbtide Charters Inc. is a small Halibut/Salmon fishing charter business located in Anchorage Alaska and fishing in Deep Creek/Ninilchik on the Kenai peninsula.
Our goal is to provide affordable family fishing. There are a couple of ways we accomplish this goal. First, we use a 27 ft Glacier Craft boat. A very capable, safe and efficient vessel. "Ebbtide" has a large heated cabin and a fully enclosed bathroom for your comfort and privacy. Secondly, we decrease our prices for family/friend groups booked at the same time. (see price list) The usual charter is 6 persons and will run 4-6 hours on the water. Most trips are accomplished within 10-15 miles of shore requiring only a 30 minute boat ride to and from the fishing grounds. Land is usually within site and seasickness is markedly reduced.
We fish on the very best tides to increase your chances even more of catching trophy halibut. All the fishing equipment you will need is provided except for your personal items. Fish cleaning is included in the price. You supply an ice chest to put the cleaned fillets into. Ninilchik has facilities available to store or ship your fish home for you.
There is a 50% deposit required for any booking. This fee is fully refunded if cancellations are received at least 2 weeks prior to launch date and is non-refundable after that. There is no penalty for bad weather. Your money will be fully refunded if the charter is cancelled due to bad weather. Bad weather is defined usually as windy days that generate waves of 4-5 feet or more. The fishing would not be any fun in those kind of seas anyway.
