I specialize in couples/family therapy and relationship problems between married or unmarried partners or between parents and their children. My clinical experience includes private practice and in and out patient services to adolescents and adults, short and long-term individual and group counseling. I also provide professional development and career coaching services.

I work collaboratively with couples, adults, adolescents, children and families to promote development and functioning on issues related to personal identity, intimacy, personal aspirations and family relationships. I assist them in developing new and more flexible ways of relating to people and the world
I believe it is important to have a here and now focus, but understand that we are all products of our personal histories. By looking at both the present and the past, I believe individuals can work toward improving the future.
I tailor my treatment methods to the needs of each individual in order to help them achieve optimum results, and often use humor to create a relaxed atmosphere. I am a member of the American Counseling Association. I am happy to set a phone consultation prior to the first therapy session. I know that taking the first step to seek help can be so difficult and I recognize the importance of that first phone call.

The per session rate for a 45-55 minute session will be $105.
Original 15-30 minute telephonic consult remains gratis.
Rates for legal proceedings remain $150 per hour; travel time (to and from) is calculated at the same rate. This change will apply to both new and existing clients.

Lynn Harrison, M.Ed received a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland and a Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Mississippi State University. Lynn has been licensed as an Alaskan Marital & Family Therapist since 1995 and is experienced in clinical counseling.
Services provided include personal, marriage and family counseling. These services are provided at the hourly session rate of $105, payable at the time of service.
