Welcome to Reynolds Hardwood, the source for good hardwood lumber located close to Palmer, Alaska, making it an easy source for those who live most anywhere in the state. We are only an hour north of Anchorage in the Matanuska-Susitna valley - now called Mat-Su by many folks.
We are a cash-and-carry source of lumber for both the professional and hobbyist. In business since 1994, our customers now include some of the most amazing woodworkers in the state of Alaska. Over a dozen species of lumber can always be found here. View the wood most commonly in stock on the Lumber and Sheetgoods pages. You will find the primary sizes we carry as well as close-up photos of the color and grain of each type of wood. (Color will vary on different monitors.)
From Palmer, drive north toward Tok, turning left at the top of the long hill onto Fishhook Road (the road to Hatcher Pass and Independence Mine). We are at Mile 2.9 on the right. Reynolds Hardwood is open weekdays from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Saturdays 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. We are also open BY APPOINTMENT for those who may need lumber outside of business hours.
