Whether you travel north up the spectacular and fascinating Lynn Canal (our continent's longest and deepest glacial fjord) or you travel south over the Klondike Highway through the spellbinding White Pass Summit you'll find the City of Skagway nestled in-between towering majestic mountains.
Whether it be the end of your journey or the beginning of a new journey, Sgt. Preston's Lodge is the place to stay. Wonderfully located right in the heart of Skagway's still bustling boomtown of day's gone by. The gateway to new adventures or glimpses of past adventures gone by.
Sgt. Preston's Lodge is a part of Skagway's past along with it's future. Originally an army barracks building for housing officers back in the forties. Sgt. Preston, though factious (some of you may have enjoyed listening to the radio show) was also part of the past, as Skagway is the only US city to actually have a post outside of Canada for what was then known as Northwest Mounted Police. They were posted here to help expedite there own men into the Yukon Territory.
At Sgt. Preston's Lodge, we offer forty new or newly renovated rooms of all sizes and shapes to meet your lodging needs. A touch of the old along with a touch of new. Skagway's recipe to fun and adventure.
Come enjoy Skagway while staying at Sgt. Preston's Lodge!
