CAPTAIN MIKE IS BACK ON A 6 PACK FOR YOUR FISHING PLEASURE!!
Join us for a fun filled day on the waters of Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay. Experience, with us, the thrill of a lifetime, Alaskan Halibut Fishing. Cook Inlet is noted for some of the largest (and tastiest) halibut in the world. Throughout the day you will also be able to view outstanding wildlife, playful sea otters, colorful puffins, porpoises and whales. Halibut fishing with Captain Mike's is a day to be remembered. We offer a full day of quality fishing aboard our clean, comfortable and fully equipped boats. Relax and enjoy the scenic boat ride as your experienced skipper takes you to the best fishing spots.
We are excited about the upcoming season and you will be too! Captain Mike is back on a 6 pack boat and it is a stable, speedy catamaran. Captain Mike knows what he likes and what you like and Wild Thing is the ultimate, Alaskan, fishing boat. The Wild Thing is a 32 foot catamaran with a huge back deck for fishing comfort. It is very fast and stable giving you more time to fish and less time traveling without the pounding of a monohull.
We are in the water and ready to fish.

Captain Mike is at the helm of the Wild Thing for the summer of 2010. He has fished here for over 27 years and folks that fish with him can attest to his patience and expertise. He is an old salt, a great fisherman and very patient with pros and folks who have never fished before. We use top quality Avet and Shimano 2 speed reels for your fishing pleasure. We fish 6 on the Wild Thing.

Our office, Salty Girls Gifts and Bookings has been the perfect home for Captain Mike's Charters. It is located right behind the Salty Dawg Saloon overlooking the harbor. We book a full line of boats in addition to the Wild Thing. We have been booking charters for many years and know the boats and Captains and can set you up with the perfect charter for your needs. Our office also offers a full line of Salty Dawg gifts and apparel, books, salt-water taffy and bookings for other activities and outings. Stop by and visit us.

A Word From Your Hosts:
We believe when you fish with Captain Mikes you get the very best combination of price, quality and service. To all you folks that have fished with us for years and to our new upcoming fishermen and women, a big THANKS from Captain Mikes. We appreciate your business.
What time is it in Alaska?
