Over the past twenty years, Covenant House Alaska has grown from an emergency shelter for kids in crisis to a multitude of services that assist and help our youth to self-sufficiency.
On the streets, homeless youth have few choices. Hopelessness. Deprivation. Jail. Or Covenant House.
When everyone and everything else in their young lives fails them, Covenant House Alaska is here to save them from the streets, with unconditional love and a door that’s open 24/7.
Through our programs, services and staff, we provide the food, shelter and care homeless youth desperately need right now, as
well as the support and life skills they need to put their lives on the right track down the road.
“Covenant House Alaska keeps kids off the street. When it’s a rainy day, you don’t have to sleep on a bench and go hungry. They give you all the tools to find a job.”
- Josh, Covenant House Alaska client
Last year, Covenant House Alaska served 2,800 youth through our Crisis Center, Community Services Center and Transitional Living Programs.
