Mission Partners Where does your money go?
The big white pickup truck rumbled up about 45 minutes after our flight had arrived in Nome. Tyler and I met Pastor Brian Crockett and were ready to begin the 75 mile ride over the tundra to Teller and Brevig Mission. But first Brian had some errands to do in Nome. There was church banking, personal errands and a post office visit. Brian explained that it was time for the two mission churches to pay their quarterly benevolences. I watched as Pastor Brian filled out the forms and wrote the check to the national church.
How are you doing on your mission commitments? Pastor Brian inquired. You know we pastors are not very good at holding each other accountable on our mission commitments. Thats a question you should be asking me....Full Story.
