Our charter boat operators are USCG licensed and have a lifetime of commercial fishing experience. They know the waters that surround Kodiak Island and just where to find the fish on a Kodiak Island Alaska Fishing Trip. Furthermore, our fishing lodge is located in a sportsmen's paradise, offering numerous opportunities to view and photograph wild life, including deer, eagles, and many other land and sea mammals. The fishing and hunting season is as follows:
• Kodiak Island Alaska Sport Fishing: Cohos start the last week of July and start to peak around the last week of August until the middle of September.
• Kodiak Island King Salmon Fishing in May to September: Large kings start showing up the around the first of May and can be caught until mid-July.
• Hunting for Sitka: Black Tail Deer through December 31st
• Lingcod Season: Opens July 1st
• Halibut Fishing Season: Opens February 1st & Closes December 31st
• Sitka Black Tail Deer Hunting: Best from the end of September to the end of November
• Duck Hunting Opens October 8th & closes January 22nd
