Located only minutes away from downtown, the Creekwood is an excellent home away from home in Anchorage and Alaska. Because Anchorage has an outstanding network of greenbelts, we are strategically situated next to beautiful walking and biking paths and, at the same time, the Sears Shopping Mall, Carrs Supermarket, and a large assortment of restaurants and theaters are all within a few easy blocks.

Creekwood is situated next to the Chester Creek Trail, part of a glorious network of 121 miles of safe and heavily used trails and greenbelts. Anchorage residents and guests frequent these trails year round for walking, jogging, cycling, roller blading, cross country skiing and even dog mushing. Chester Creek trail is the path the Iditarod Competitors take on their way to Wasilla after the ceremonial start in downtown Anchorage.

Within a couple of blocks, you will find American, Italian, Chinese and Mexican Restaurants; Movie theaters; Sullivan Arena (home of Concerts, Aces and UAA hockey, Great Alaska Shoot-Out College Basketball Tournament, and many other special events). Beyond that, we are only minutes from downtown, the airport, the Visitors Center, or just about anywhere else in Anchorage you might want to visit.
